King's College London is seeking a committed Fitness/Gym Instructor to support the Wellness delivery across our King's Sport & Wellness facilities. You will create engaging fitness and wellbeing activities that enhance physical activity, mental and social wellbeing for students and staff.
The role is a full-time post (35 hours per week) with an indefinite contract. You will work to maintain high facility standards and a welcoming, inclusive environment for our diverse community.
Estates & Facilities are the stewards of King's extensive property portfolio that enables innovative teaching and pioneering research across five campuses in central London. Made up of over 1,000 talented staff with a wide variety of roles servicing our campuses and community; together we ensure that students and staff have the estate, space, and services that enhance their academic experience while preserving and future proofing our iconic estate as King's approaches it's bicentenary.
King's Sport & Wellness aims to connect with our communities to help them find their personal best, delivering distinctive, inclusive and sustainable sport and wellness experiences that unite our communities, enable student and staff success and generate positive impact for King's and society.
In support of this ambition, the Waterloo Sport & Wellness Centre was established in 2022 and provides a key environment for the delivery of our services and programmes, increasing opportunities for our communities to be physically active and supporting physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging.

The postholder will support the delivery and development of our Wellness offer across King's Sport & Wellness, providing engaging opportunities that increase physical activity and support the physical, mental and social wellbeing of our students and staff.
Alongside the delivery of Wellness programmes and services, the postholder will contribute to the safe, effective and customer-focused operation of the King's Sport & Wellness Centre and Waterloo Gym. The role will help maintain high standards across our facilities and support the delivery of an inclusive, welcoming and high-quality experience for our communities.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
