King's College London is seeking a Communications Specialist to support Faculty communications within the NMES area. The role focuses on copywriting, editing news and features, and creating content for social media, graphics and videos, while contributing to events.
This maternity cover post is full-time (35 hours per week) and will involve working with stakeholders across the faculty to raise profile and impact of our internationally renowned scientists.
The Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) is a vibrant faculty based in the heart of London with a long tradition of world-leading research and teaching in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and engineering.

This role supports all aspects of faculty communications. It's a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in copywriting and editing news and features, creating and curating content for social media, including graphics and videos, as well as contributing to the running of our vibrant events series.
This is a maternity cover post. This post will be offered on a fixed‑term contract from 01/01/2027 until 31/12/2027 or on the return of the substantive postholder. For internal staff, this may be offered on a secondment.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) post.
