Job summary

Invictus UK 2027 is looking for a Sports Volunteers Manager to lead volunteer operations for the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. You will plan training resources and ensure volunteers are ready for the Games, while supporting the wider sport team with event preparation.

The fixed-term contract runs from January 2027 to July 31, 2027, with flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements. You will collaborate with partners, sponsors, and the sport team to deliver a successful event.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce all volunteer training resources related to sport
• Ensure all volunteers are ready for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027
• Assist the wider sport team with the planning and preparation of the Games
• Develop strong positive collaborative working with key partners and sponsors including sponsors, National Governing Bodies and contractors
• Operational management to ensure all volunteers are appropriately supported
• Contribute to the timely production and management of key event documentation and planning
