Job summary

East Coast College is seeking a Sport and SEND Course Lead for the Great Yarmouth Campus. The role is 0.8 FTE (29.6 hours) on a permanent part-time basis, with a salary on the Lecturers Scale (£35112.48 - £41600.00).

You will lead curriculum delivery across sport and SEND, drive learner achievement and coordinate high‑quality teaching, learning and employer engagement to ensure students gain industry-relevant experience and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths required.
• Candidate must obtain a teacher qualification within three years.
• DBS and safeguarding checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and QA of inclusive Sport and SEND programmes.
• Teach and assess learners with adaptive, student‑centred approaches.
• Monitor attendance, progress and wellbeing with timely interventions.
• Develop relationships with employers and external agencies.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
