Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Sports Coaches and graduates for Middlesbrough secondary schools. You will support teachers in the classroom, deliver small group interventions using sport to engage students, and help with extra-curricular clubs.

These roles are ideal for graduates with sports degrees or qualified coaches seeking school-based experience and a pathway into teaching, PE, pastoral work, or youth development. DBS checks and safeguarding training are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a sports related degree or coaching background.
• Experience engaging young people and supporting classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support alongside subject teachers.
• Deliver small group or 1:1 interventions using sport to engage learners.
• Support behaviour, motivation and positive attitudes to learning.
• Assist with extracurricular clubs, enrichment activities and fixtures.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and school policies.
