Job description

Sports Coach for Education Sector

Are you a sports coach with experience working with children and young adults? Axcis Education, a specialist SEND agency, is seeking sports coaches to work in mainstream and SEND schools, PRUs, and alternative provisions in Exeter and surrounding areas.

While you won't be teaching sports formally, you'll use your coaching skills to build rapport and foster relationships with students. The roles are suitable if you:

1. Have a sports background in training or coaching
2. Possess a confident and friendly personality
3. Can remain calm under stressful situations
4. Can manage groups of children with strong classroom management skills
5. Have experience working with young people, including those with special needs
6. Wish to work during regular school hours (08:30-15:30)

Pay rates typically range from £80-£90 per day, depending on experience. Some students may have needs such as autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, behavioral issues, or physical disabilities.
