This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization. We pay an attractive salary of £13,137 - £13,345 (19 hours per week) or £13,828 - £14,048 (20 hours per week) and provide access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sports and Facilities Operations Assistant based at our Y Gwyndy School campus. The successful candidate will support the daily operation, maintenance, and supervision of the sports facilities including the ATP and Sports Hall, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clubs and community users. Duties will include equipment setup, health and safety checks, minor maintenance, and assisting with bookings and events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, good organisational skills, and a proactive attitude. Evening and weekend work is essential.

Hours and contract

Contract 1 - 19 hours per week (Two-week rota):

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 4.30pm-8.30pm/9.30pm, and Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday 4.30pm-9.30pm and Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm

Contract 2 - 20 hours per week (Two-week rota):

  • Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday 4.30pm-9.30pm and Saturday 8.30am-4.30pm
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 4.30pm-8.30pm/9.30pm, and Saturday 8.30am-4.30pm
