Job summary

A leading education provider in Oxford is seeking a Sport and Behaviour Support Worker to assist students with personalised intervention plans and facilitate a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate should be calm, compassionate, and have a desire to make a difference in students' lives. The position is term-time only, with a salary range of £85 - £100 per day, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
  • Must have the right to live/work in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • To support students with their personalised intervention plans
  • Facilitate a fun and friendly learning environment
  • To provide support to the class teacher
  • To support the students with sport related activities and interventions
  • To encourage children to do their best
  • Help manage classroom behaviour
  • Support and encourage healthy coping strategies
Requirements
  • Calm and compassionate; initiative and problem solving
  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Patience and understanding for students with additional learning needs
  • Understanding the importance of safeguarding in schools
  • Must have an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one
  • Must have the right to live/work in the UK; sponsorships are not offered
