Job Title: Sponsorship and Partnership Manager

Accountable to: Commercial Director

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays to cover match days and non-match events

Salary:£32,000 - £36,000 per annum

Location: The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Sponsorship and Partnership Manager to join our Commercial Team! You will be responsible for the management of all SCCC’s and the ECB’s sponsorship partners. You will ensure timely delivery of the partners’ sponsorship rights and demonstrate the positive impact of their partnership with us on their business. Simultaneously, you will cultivate these relationships and identify new partners which will result in increased revenue spend with Somerset County Cricket Club/Cooper Associates County Ground.

To give you a snapshot of the tasks involved in this exciting role, you'll oversee the coordination and delivery of sponsorship contracts and rights, monitor the impact of our partnerships, alongside developing tailored proposals, creating new revenue opportunities and identifying innovative brand activation strategies. You will handle sales of sponsorship packages, develop marketing materials, and analyse sales pipelines. Additionally, you’ll support event marketing, gather content for sponsors, and provide regular reporting on activation and rights delivery.

About You

Amongst other criteria, to be successful in our team you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create sales presentations, material and collateral. You’ll have demonstrable experience working within the partnerships industry, with an undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, in a related field. You will also have in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, industry trends and new technologies.

You're energetic with a can-do attitude, driven to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
