This role involves being part of the RAF Firefighter force, providing firefighting and rescue services to Defence across the UK and overseas. Responsibilities include responding to fires and emergencies, rescuing from military aircraft, providing fire safety awareness, supporting operations in challenging environments, and maintaining specialized vehicles and equipment.

What we’re looking for:

• UK or Irish citizenship, or certain other nationalities, with residency in the UK for at least 3-5 years.
• Minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Current full driving license.
• Physical fitness to complete training and perform duties, including passing fitness tests.
• Health standards compliance, including BMI, eyesight, and medical conditions.
• Willingness to undertake background checks and tests during recruitment.
