Job summary

Brightwork Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support the maturing and processing of spirit in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will help ensure production targets and customer expectations are met safely and efficiently, working closely with the Production Manager and operations team.

This hands-on role emphasizes safe handling, accuracy, teamwork and a proactive approach to learning in a well-established spirits production setting.

Qualifications

• Cask handling experience required.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or production environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic IT/PC skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely stow and de-stow casks in the warehouse.
• Select, move and position casks efficiently.
• Plan and organise loads to maximise efficiency.
• Fill and empty casks with spirit following procedures.
• Operate manual handling equipment and warehouse machinery.
• Use semi-automated cask handling systems.
• Ensure safe handling of flammable liquids per policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet targets and customer service needs.
