Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8a Spinal Pathway Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Integrated Musculoskeletal Service. You will provide autonomous care for patients with complex spinal and musculoskeletal presentations and lead a portfolio of pathway development and improvement work.

• Experience as an advanced clinical practitioner in musculoskeletal/spinal care.
• Leadership and change-management experience within healthcare pathways.
• Ability to work across primary, community and secondary care to improve pathways.

Are you an experienced advanced practitioner with a passion for spinal care, clinical leadership and service improvement?

We are seeking a Band 8a Spinal Pathway Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Integrated Musculoskeletal Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine expert clinical practice with visible leadership across the spinal pathway. You will provide autonomous care for patients with complex spinal and musculoskeletal presentations while leading an agreed portfolio of pathway development and improvement work.

Working across primary, community and secondary care, you will collaborate with clinical, operational and professional colleagues to improve pathway quality, consistency, access, outcomes and patient experience.

The role is aligned with the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research. You will act as a role model for advanced practice and support workforce development through Somerset Faculty of Enhanced and Advanced Practice arrangements.
