Main duties of the job
The Spinal Injury Support Worker will be responsible for supporting and engaging with the client's personalized routines, including the use of hoists. They will assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and mobility, administer medication, and monitor the client's health conditions. The role also involves providing emotional support and companionship, maintaining accurate records of care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the client's wellbeing.
