Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives near Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. The role involves manufacturing, blending, weighing and packing spice products with full training from day one and a route to permanent employment after probation.

Work is Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm, with weekly pay and holiday accrual. Own transport is essential due to rural site location; the environment has a strong spice aroma and is a hands-on setting.

Qualifications

• Own transport due to site location.
• Reliable and committed approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with food ingredients and strong spice aromas.
• Ability to work on your feet throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous food production, factory, warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weighing and measuring spices and ingredients to production recipes.
• Blending and preparing ingredients for production runs.
• Packing finished products to customer specifications.
• Operating food production machinery (full training provided).
• Labelling and preparing products for dispatch.
• Completing production paperwork and basic quality checks.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
• Manual handling, including lifting and palletising finished goods.
• Working as part of a supportive production team to meet daily targets.
