Job summary

First People Solutions are recruiting an experienced SPEN Substation Site Manager to join a major high-voltage infrastructure project in Glasgow.

You will lead on-site delivery, manage HV cabling works, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme and budget targets are met on this high-profile SPEN contract.

Immediate start available with an ongoing contract through a reputable contractor.

Qualifications

• SPEN Competent Person accreditation
• SMSTS qualification
• CSCS Black Card
• HSG47 - Avoiding Danger from Underground Services
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification
• Proven HV cabling installation experience
• Experience managing SPEN substation projects
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of SPEN substation works.
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain programme, quality and health & safety standards.

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced SPEN Substation Site Manager to join a major high-voltage infrastructure project in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a significant SPEN project. We are looking for a highly experienced Site Manager with a proven background in managing high-voltage substation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of SPEN substation works.
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
