We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 3 Assistant Speech & Language Therapist to work with the adult team. The post is based at the Community location, Denton Park Health Centre delivering a service to people with acquired communication and or swallowing problems. The role involves supporting the work of speech and language therapists by providing routine administration duties, preparing materials for assessment and delivering delegated interventions directly with patients and their carers. Patients are largely seen at home, nursing homes and at hospital bedside. We require someone with excellent communication skills who has work experience of adults and preferably those with impaired communication. Knowledge of system one is highly desirable.
