Job summary

Your Healthcare CIC is seeking a motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join the Integrated Service for Children with Disabilities in Kingston and Richmond. You will support pre-school children with communication and eating, drinking and swallowing needs, carry out therapy programmes, create resources, and empower families and education staff to help children reach goals.

You will work with experienced therapists in a patient-centred, inclusive setting that values high-quality care,

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our team and be an integral part of the Integrated Service for Children with Disabilities. You will work alongside experienced Speech and language Therapists supporting pre-school children with their communication and or eating, drinking and swallowing needs. You will carry out therapy programmes, support communication in pre-school settings/homes create resources, and empower families and education staff to help children achieve their goals.

• Has experience working with children and young people in community or educational settings, particularly a child development centre.
• Is enthusiastic about supporting communication needs and inclusion.
• Is an excellent team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
