Job summary

Academics in Aylesbury is seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join its award-winning Specialist Multi Academy Trust. You will help pupils with Autism, SEMH and complex communication needs across multiple campuses, delivering specialist therapy and contributing to a growing service.

Work with teachers, families and external professionals to plan intervention, embed communication strategies in the curriculum and shape the future of therapy services across the Trust.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• RCSLT membership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist, evidence‑based interventions for pupils with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs.
• Assess, plan and implement outcome‑focused therapy programmes.
• Embed communication strategies across the curriculum to improve access to learning.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals to provide a holistic approach.
• Support pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH and complex communication needs.
• Contribute to staff training and professional development, promoting a whole‑school approach to communication.
• Help shape and develop a growing therapy service within an award‑winning Trust.
