Speech & Language Therapist - SEN / Autism - HCPC registered

I am representing a client who is seeking an HCPC-registered SALT to support learners with ASD, SLCN, and neurodiverse needs across educational settings.

Location: West London

Employment Type: Full-Time

Why this job means a lot to me: I was a teacher for 19 Years working predominantly with such learners but more so, I had the benefit of Speech and Language Therapists when I was at school at the age of 5 and 6 here in the UK. They were amazing and I have been an advocate ever since. This position means a lot to me , my client and off course the children.

About the Role

As a Specialist SLT, you will:

Deliver tailored speech and language interventions for autistic learners, guided by the SCERTS Framework.

Utilize AAC tools such as PECS, Makaton, and speech-generating devices to enhance communication.

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to design individualized support plans.

Contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) development and review.

Support learners' sensory integration needs and emotional regulation strategies.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and is HCPC registered.

Brings experience supporting autistic children in educational or therapy settings.
