Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset, part of Elysium Healthcare, is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to meaningful recovery.

You’ll manage a designated caseload, deliver assessments and interventions for communication and swallowing difficulties, participate in audits and service development, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package. Location: Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, TA21 9FF.

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience managing a caseload with assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
• Experience working with families.
• Evidence of ongoing Professional Development (CPD).

Aufgaben

• Deliver specialist assessments and interventions for service users with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
• Manage a designated caseload, planning and evaluating interventions to support positive outcomes.
• Lead therapeutic group sessions and provide individual interventions where required.
• Undertake audits and contribute to service development and research initiatives.
• Provide specialist knowledge in areas such as acquired communication disorders, swallowing disorders, and mental health-related communication needs.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused care.
