Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland.
They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, including expert witness assessments for courts and parole boards, and assessments in criminal, family, immigration, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality assessments and NHS contracts.
This is an exciting role within a busy service, providing assessments to families and adults. It is a hybrid or remote position for qualified clinicians working in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and GPs.
Some tasks may be performed remotely, but travel to the office 1-2 times per week is required.
The clinician will conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD using established tools. Mental health assessments may also be necessary. All assessments are conducted on behalf of the NHS via GP referral.
The role includes writing assessment reports promptly, providing recommendations and interventions, and potentially supervising junior staff depending on experience.
