TimePlan Education is working in partnership with an outstanding independent special school in Chelsea, West London, which caters for pupils aged 4-11 with mild to moderate and complex learning needs.
The school is part of a well-established group of independent educational settings and prides itself on taking a creative and individualised approach to education. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every pupil receives the support, encouragement and specialist provision they need to reach their full potential.
The school has a strong focus on understanding individual learning profiles and providing tailored educational and therapeutic support within a nurturing environment.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join the school's specialist team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified therapist to take responsibility for a caseload of approximately 15-18 pupils, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The successful candidate will provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy to pupils with a range of communication and interaction needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay and other complex learning needs.

Importantly, all pupils on the caseload have EHCPs, so the successful candidate must be confident contributing to EHCP documentation and attending Annual Review meetings. They will need to explain pupils' speech, language and communication needs, progress, targets and recommended provision clearly to parents, carers, teaching staff and other professionals.
The current caseload requires a high level of therapeutic input and support, so the school is looking for someone with strong paediatric SEN experience who can confidently manage the demands of the role and provide consistent, effective support.
The school is looking for a proactive, confident and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who can take ownership of a busy caseload and provide a high level of support to pupils with additional needs.
You must be confident not only in delivering therapy but also in the wider clinical responsibilities of the role, particularly EHCP contributions, report writing and explaining progress and recommendations during Annual Review meetings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working in a specialist educational environment and wants to make a meaningful difference to children's communication, confidence and development.
