Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a Speech & Language Therapist to join Turner Court School in Bristol, Gloucestershire, supporting children with autism and additional needs. You will assess, plan and deliver tailored therapies, collaborating across education and residential teams.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with professional registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism and additional needs.
  • Ability to undertake assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver effective interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality therapeutic support and achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for young people with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educational and residential teams to ensure a clinically informed environment for living and learning.
  • Deliver individualised interventions to improve the communication skills of children with complex needs.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic support for young people with a range of developmental conditions and special educational needs.
  • Contribute to the training and support of other staff members, ensuring best practices are followed throughout.
