Job Opportunity: Speech & Language Therapist (SLT)

We are a Children's Residential Care home seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) to work alongside our Clinical Psychologist. The role involves supporting young people with Learning Disabilities in our care facilities located in Croydon and Ilford, London.

Ideally, candidates will have prior experience working with children and possess relevant SLT qualifications. The position is initially for 2 days a week, with potential to transition into full-time hours as the organization grows.

Responsibilities and Reporting

You will report to the Registered Manager, RI, and Clinical Psychologist. Your role will include collaborating with social workers to develop and implement therapeutic strategies for the young people in our care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year practicing SLT
• Experience working with children with learning disabilities
• Ability to work flexibly across our locations
• Compliance with Ofsted regulations and safer recruitment practices
• Willingness to undergo extensive DBS checks and provide references

Compensation

Pay ranges from £200-£300 per day, depending on experience.
