Job summary

Salfords Primary School and Nursery in Redhill is seeking a caring Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support children's speech, language and communication across the school, including the Early Years setting.

Working with the SENCo and teaching staff, you will lead targeted interventions and help pupils overcome barriers to learning, contributing to the school's SEND provision and development.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent required.
• CPD training in related curriculum or teaching and learning developments.
• Understanding of inclusive education and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate speech, language and communication interventions.
• Support pupils across the school, including Early Years.
• Collaborate with SENCo and teaching staff to improve learning outcomes.
