Job summary

Octavia House Schools in Great Baddow, Essex, is seeking a Band 5/6 Speech and Language Therapist on a part-time, permanent basis to support trauma-centred therapeutic education across our primary school.

You will work closely with classroom teams, provide targeted therapy in class, liaise with families and external professionals, and contribute to a coherent reporting system. Interviews are rolling, with a start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seamless therapeutic and relationships-first therapy, collaborating with classroom colleagues and delivering effective therapy programmes.
• Provide in-class therapeutic support, maintain visibility, and support learning.
• Liaise with colleagues and external professionals.
• Act as a key contact for families regarding therapy and coordinate with external professionals as required.
• Ensure coherent internal reporting for all therapies.
