We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team at Lavender Lodge School , a specialist SEND setting in the heart of Mitcham. What You'll Be Doing

Provide specialist speech and language therapy as part of a wider clinical team across both school and residential settings.

Conduct detailed assessments, formulations, and interventions tailored to children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, developmental trauma , and complex needs.

Deliver individual and group therapy sessions , while actively contributing to EHCPs and educational planning.

Offer expert guidance to school staff and residential care teams , enhancing their understanding of communication strategies and therapeutic approaches.

Participate in regular case reviews, multi-agency collaboration , and reflective supervision.

Contribute to shaping therapeutic environments that empower students to engage, grow, and succeed.

Who We're Looking For

A HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with a proven track record in working with children and young people.

Strong experience in ASD, ADHD, SEMH , and other communication difficulties.

Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, with a proactive and confident approach to supporting colleagues.

A skilled communicator, capable of building rapport with young people and their families .

Previous experience in team supervision or training delivery is highly desirable.

A valid driving licence is essential due to occasional travel between sites.
