About the Role:
We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist – or an individual with relevant experience – to join our supportive team at a vibrant SEN school in Hemel Hempstead. You’ll work closely with students who require targeted support to develop their communication skills, collaborating with teaching staff and external professionals to make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support student progress
  • Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies across the school
  • Contribute to EHCP planning and reviews where necessary
  • Liaise with families and outside agencies to support holistic care
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has experience working with children or young people with speech and language needs (school, clinical, or support settings)
  • Has a strong understanding of communication difficulties and strategies to support them
  • Is compassionate, proactive, and a team player
  • Is enthusiastic about working in a SEN environment
  • (Bonus) Holds a degree or qualification in speech and language therapy – but this is not essential!
