Job Description:

Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to young people.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support to young people within schools with complex needs
  • Collaborate with the Local Authority in mainstream and special schools, as well as in the Youth Offending Team

Qualifications and experience:

  • Registered with the HCPC as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist
  • Proven skills and experience in engaging and delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments
  • Confident, engaging, effective, and able to lead and train others
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
