An exciting position has arisen within our community Speech and Language Therapy Team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic team player to join our busy department based at Friarage Hospital in a new Band 5 role.
You will join a friendly and supportive team. The role involves working independently with outpatients who have communication and swallowing difficulties (dependent on training). Due to the department's busy nature, suitable applicants must be organized and flexible within a varied working day.
Applicants should demonstrate a compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication skills. The role involves independent community work, so a valid driving license and access to a car are essential.
Training in dysphagia will be provided if needed. The H & R SLT team covers a large rural geographical area.
