The Role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist within our Education and Inclusion Therapy Service, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality therapy support to children and young people in educational settings. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse caseload, applying your clinical expertise in a range of settings and contributing to service development initiatives.

What you’ll do:

• Provide speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people
• Collaborate with education staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans
• Contribute to training and capacity-building within schools and settings
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards
• Participate in service development and quality improvement activities
• Support whole-school communication strategies and contribute to policy development

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
• A strong passion for working with children with additional needs within an educational context
• Experience working with children and young people in educational or community settings and working with children with a range of SEN needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
• A flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
• Competent in using IT systems and software for clinical documentation, reporting, and service management
• Be part of a well-established and respected Therapy Service within a high-performing local authority
