Pulse has partnered with a UK specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are seeking an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Birmingham, accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver assessment and intervention plans for students with diverse communication and learning needs, including developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, PDA, ASD, Anxiety, and complex SEMH needs.

Main responsibilities:
  • Promote and embed the Total Communication initiative
  • Work flexibly and creatively with students
  • Manage your caseload, ensuring EHCP targets are met
  • Collaborate with community and residential settings
  • Deliver assessments and interventions, including therapy in various settings
  • Support Zones of Regulation across the setting
  • Facilitate meaningful change through hands-on intervention
  • Engage in reflection and MDT liaison, upskill staff
Requirements:
