We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Speech and Language Therapist within the Support for Learning Service. The Service comprises highly specialist staff across a range of areas of ALN including Specialist Teachers, Specialist Teaching Assistants and Sensory Support workers and are part of the wider Inclusion Service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about supporting learners in the Early Years.
The post involves working across the Early Years and Inclusion Services to undertake a strategic, time-limited task-and-finish project focused on the continuum of care for children transitioning from pre-school settings into mainstream Nursery classes and continuing their educational journey.
This role will be instrumental in reviewing, analysing, and enhancing the current practices around training, speech and language assessments, interventions, and information-sharing protocols between pre-school environments and mainstream schools.
Ideally you will have:
BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
