We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in managing a clinical caseload, specializing in supporting young individuals with neurodiversity, social, and emotional challenges. The role involves conducting assessments and interventions tailored for young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a clinical caseload of young people with neurodiversity and SEMH needs.
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions for individuals with SEMH needs and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Ensure person-centered practice in all aspects of therapy.
• Deliver both individual and group interventions, evaluating and adapting practices as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and caregivers to develop integrated therapy solutions.
• Set therapy objectives in coordination with the care team.
• Maintain knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding Legislation and ensure compliance.
• Stay informed about relevant legislation affecting therapeutic practices.

About You:

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent, HCPC registered.
• Eligible for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Post-registration practice experience.
• Experience working with young people.
• Experience with children with SEMH needs and developmental trauma within a Trauma-Informed Model (preferred).
