Job Description:

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – ENT Voice
Band 7
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
3 months, with potential for extension
Nottinghamshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive voice assessments for adult patients presenting with a range of voice disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide expert advice and support to patients and their families regarding voice rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional standards and Trust policies.

Requirements:

• Qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist, with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Extensive experience in voice assessment and therapy, preferably within an ENT setting.
• Knowledge of head and neck conditions and their impact on voice function would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
