Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Oldham. The role involves supporting children with communication and language difficulties through targeted 1:1 and group interventions. The successful candidate will collaborate with the SENCO and school staff to implement effective communication strategies and help pupils achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
  • Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC registration essential)
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (training can be provided if needed)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the online update service or willingness to apply
  • Two professional references related to work with children or in healthcare
