A progressive healthcare provider in Malton is seeking an Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist. The role involves delivering high-quality care to patients with communication disorders, managing a diverse caseload, and supporting a dedicated team. Candidates should have current registration with HCPC and RCSLT, alongside a degree in Speech and Language Therapy. This part-time position (22 hours) offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development.
We are looking for a motivated Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our small team. The successful candidate will be interested in providing excellent patient care in the community setting, whilst helping develop our service further. The post is 22 hours and is a band 6 based at Malton Hospital.
Our service provides care for patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. We offer appointments by home visit, outpatient clinic, telephone, and video. Our caseload includes neurological degenerative conditions, care homes, two community hospitals, voice and stroke.
We are a supportive team who work together closely. We are keen to provide excellent patient care, help develop your skills and for you to help develop our skills.
