Job description

A leading specialist education provider is now looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join their team, supporting young people with a wide range of SEN studying at sixth form-/college-level in and around London.

Through an inclusive learning approach, personalised and intensive support, and opening doors to life-changing experiences and opportunities, the trust provides holistic education services to over 1500 young people with learning disabilities of varied severity, sensory differences, SLCN and/or complex medical histories across London and the South East.

You will be able to take advantage of workplace research and further development opportunities, including clinical supervision, peer support and skills training, as part of a well-rounded CPD and career progression pathway.

Full-Time or Term Time only.

Part-time availability may be accommodated.

Person Specification:
  • Essential: HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT)
  • Essential: Membership (or eligibility for) of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Essential: Previous professional experience with learning disabilities, ASC and/or SEMH in the context of young people
  • Desirable: Previous experience working within an educational setting
