Overview

Total Assist Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Adult Speech & Language Therapist for a permanent role based in Leeds.

The client is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. The assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. They treat people with a range of brain injuries sustained through trauma, illness, substance abuse and more to recover and meet their personal goals.

Responsibilities

Work as an Adult Speech & Language Therapist in neurorehabilitation settings to support adults with brain injuries in regaining communication and swallowing skills and achieving personal goals.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered
• Dysphagia competency
• Knowledge of SALT models in acquired brain injury (ABI)
• Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience
