Job summary

• Support junior staff to develop clinical skills and confidence.

This contract runs for three months with potential extension, offering up to £27 per hour under an umbrella arrangement of your choice. The working pattern is 22.5 hours across three flexible days weekly, with hybrid options; one day must be face‑to‑face in Kent, while the remaining two can be remote. The role involves supporting adults with communication and swallowing disorders across varied conditions, using community, virtual, and clinic settings. A car driver is preferred for community visits. Candidates should possess relevant Band 6 experience, with strong assessment and intervention skills, to deliver effective care across this caseload.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Licenses: HCPC registered.
• Experience: 2 years+ experience.
• Skills: Experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders across a range of conditions, using a variety of assessments and therapy approaches.
• Skills: Confidence using IT systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
