Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity within a supportive, specialist school environment? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected organisation seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.

This permanent role offers a unique opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to work closely with pupils aged 4-11 with severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a caseload, delivering direct therapy, and collaborating with teachers, families, and professionals to support holistic progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage a varied caseload of children with SLCN

  • Deliver therapy sessions both 1:1 and in small groups, including AAC interventions

  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure communication goals are integrated into daily learning

  • Contribute to the development of a communication-friendly school environment

  • Offer training and support to staff as a key Speech and Language Therapist in the team

Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy

  • HCPC and RCSLT registration

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of developmental language disorders and AAC
