OFG Education’s Manor House School in West Sussex is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the in-house clinical team. You will deliver bespoke SLT assessment and intervention within an education setting, working with a dedicated multidisciplinary staff to support students aged 5–18 with diverse needs.

You will hold a SLT caseload with supervision and contribute to staff training, ensuring adherence to safeguarding and the organisation’s Ways of Working.

Competenze

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registered, and registered with the RCSLT.
• Experience engaging individuals with complex and diverse communication profiles.
• Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience of multidisciplinary working in a range of settings.
• Experience of communicating with/working with families, relatives and carers.
• Interest in developing knowledge and skills in different areas of SLT practice.
• Good relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Competent in core areas of SLT practice and understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards.
• Knowledge of SLT assessment tools and intervention types and formulating support plans based on needs profile.
• Knowledge of legislation and its implications for clinical practice.

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Manor House School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to students who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs.?You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required?This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual. • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy

• Some relevant experience in a previously held job of engaging and working with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
