OFG Education's Manor House School in West Sussex is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary clinical team. You will deliver bespoke SLT assessment and intervention for students who may have developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs.

You will work within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working, hold a caseload, and have access to a £2000 CPD training allowance after probation.

Qualifikationen

• Undertake undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership required.
• Experience engaging with individuals with complex communication needs.
• Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car.

Salary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply

Working collaboratively with theeducation team, you will deliver bespokeSpeech and LanguageTherapyassessment and interventiontostudentswho may have experienceddevelopmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMHneeds.You will work within the standardsprovidedin theOFGSpeech and LanguageTherapy Ways of Working. Thiswill guide your practice within an education settingand clarify your roles and responsibilities,whiletaking into accountthe requirements of yourgoverning andprofessional bodies.You will be given responsibility for holding aSpeech and Languagetherapycaseload, with the full support ofyour designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultationasrequiredThis post would suit a resilient,creativeand enthusiastic individual.

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registered, and registered with the RCSLT
• Some relevant experience in a previously held job of engaging and working with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles
• Some knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma informed practice
• Some experience of multi-disciplinary working in a range of settings
• Some experience of communicating with/working with families/relatives and carers
• An interest in developing knowledge and skills in different areas of SaLT practice
• Good relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills
• Good communicationskills (oral and written)
• Good timemanagement and organisational skills
• Competent in core areas of SaLT practice and clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
• Knowledge of different SaLT assessment tools, types of intervention and knowledge of how to formulate support plans based on needs profile
• Knowledge of legislation and its implications for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to the client group
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team
• Willingness to attend training and working towards further qualifications relevant to the client group supporting
