Overview

Role: Speech & Language Therapist - Bank.

Location: The Harborne Hospital (Birmingham), part of HCA Healthcare UK.

Contract type: Bank.

Pay: £26.51ph – £35.35 ph, dependent upon shift and role type.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for a diverse patient caseload, including individuals with craniotomies, prolonged intubation, tracheostomy, and cervical spine surgeries.
• Collaborate with the Therapies department and wider multidisciplinary teams (Physio, Dietitians, OT, SLT) with bank colleagues for patient care.
• Upskill in instrumental assessments (FEES and VFSS); clinical supervision available from the wider HCA team of SLTs.
• Work within the bank model offering first refusal on shifts ahead of agencies across the network of leading private hospitals.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship supplied for Bank roles).
• HCPC Registration.
• SALT degree qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in a hospital setting.
