Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils with speech, language and communication needs in Ashington. You will work alongside teachers and specialists to help learners access learning, express themselves and participate in lessons.
This role offers ongoing professional development, a dedicated local consultant and opportunities for long-term work. Previous education experience is beneficial but not essential.

You'll support pupils with speech, language and communication needs, helping them access learning, express their thoughts and develop meaningful relationships with others.
Working alongside teachers and specialist professionals, you'll provide patient and consistent support that helps every learner feel heard and understood. This is a varied role where small moments, a new word, a successful interaction or a confident contribution, can represent huge progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
