Surrey County Cricket Club is seeking a Wayfinding Steward for The Kia Oval, to welcome spectators and assist with seating, queues and information during fixtures.

This casual, zero-hours position requires flexibility for weekends, evenings and bank holidays, with duties including directing guests, answering queries and maintaining facilities.

You will join a small team on matchdays such as T20, Hundred and International fixtures, delivering a friendly, high-standard customer experience.

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over with full right to work in the UK.
• Good knowledge of the ground and signage.
• Enthusiastic, team player, able to follow instructions.
• Reliable, self-motivated with strong time keeping.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Greeting spectators at entry to the ground and directing them to gates.
• Directing queues and assisting access to seating and concessions.
• Handling basic ticketing queries to reduce visits to the ticket office.
• Distributing giveaways (e.g., cards, sunglasses) to spectators.
• Answering queries or directing to someone who can help.
• Providing information to spectators arriving at The Kia Oval.
• Directing people to seats, concessions, or toilets as needed.
• Assisting with queue busting once the match has started.
• Checking facilities such as toilets and bins and reporting issues to match control.
