Located in Norris Green on Broadway, our busy store is accessible via bus links and offers free parking nearby.

What’s on offer?

Our apprenticeship scheme provides a solid foundation for a career in optics, combining paid work with structured learning over 15-18 months. You’ll be supported by our friendly, passionate, and experienced team throughout your training.

  • Salary - £7.75 per hour
  • Full-time hours - 37.5 hours/week, including weekends

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

To qualify, you should have:

  • GCSEs in Maths (or equivalent/predicted grades) at grades 9-4 (A*-C)
  • Resided in the EU for at least 3 years with the right to work in the UK

What does the role involve?

You will assist with producing customer glasses, interpreting prescriptions and drawings, correcting faults, re-assembling glasses, conducting testing and adjustments, and maintaining materials and equipment, all while ensuring high-quality standards.
