Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Specimen Reception Medical Laboratory Assistant to receive molecular and genetic requests and samples from across the BSPS network, and to accurately enter patient details into the hospital database.

You will label and prepare samples for analysis, undertake filing and dispatch of reports and samples, handle telephone enquiries professionally, and follow SOPs while coordinating with pathology staff, hospital staff, porters, drivers and couriers.
