Responsibilities

• Receive, label and correctly process patient samples.
• Enter data onto the Pathology computer system and maintain workflow.
• Support the Blood Sciences team and pathology service.
• Carry out general laboratory and clerical duties to ensure efficient service.
• Liaise with external laboratories for tests not performed in-house.
• Advise users on correct specimen collection procedures and provide patient guidance.
• Ensure professional conduct with visitors and maintain confidentiality.
