We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Specifications Technologist to join our Technical team. This role is responsible for generating and maintaining accurate product specifications that meet customer, legal, and internal standards. You’ll play a vital part in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality food products while supporting key customer relationships.

As Specifications Technologist, you will:
- Generate, review, and update customer, raw material, and packaging specifications in line with customer expectations and internal requirements
- Maintain signed and agreed Raw Material Specifications for all products and ensure regular reviews and updates are completed
- Ensure all products from the butchery and processing departments meet approved, documented standards
- Maintain and organise all specification files to reflect the most current versions
- Provide factory teams with accurate, up-to-date manufacturing specifications
- Collaborate with Sales, NPD, Operations, and Technical teams to gather necessary inputs and align on specification requirements
- Liaise with the Site Technical Manager and Site Operations Director to obtain required sign-off for any changes
- Manage artwork/label approval processes in line with launch deadlines
- Generate and maintain Safety Data Sheets for finished goods and raw materials
- Attend and contribute to internal technical meetings and external customer discussions
- Access and monitor customer technical libraries daily, updating the Technical Manager on changes
- Support product launches by managing the pack specifications per customer and project timelines
- Represent the business in customer meetings as required, ensuring all technical information is accurate and professionally presented
